In Paris, the students immersed themselves in the city's rich fashion history and vibrant cultural scene:

  • Yves Saint-Laurent Museum: The students explored the life and legacy of the legendary designer, discovering his creative genius.
  • Dior Museum: A captivating exhibition through the iconic house of Dior, showcasing its timeless elegance and innovation.
  • Guided Tour of the Louvre: Focused on fashion, this tour revealed the influence of art on modern fashion.
  • Dinner Cruise on the Seine: A magical evening combining fine dining with magnificent views of the city.
  • Upcycling Workshop: The students learned embroidery techniques, promoting sustainability through creative reuse.
  • Shopping Excursion: Shopping trips to Le Marais for its charming boutiques and the Champs-Élysées for major brands.

 

 

LONDON: Design, Discoveries, and an Inspiring Encounter

  • London offered a dynamic mix of avant-garde fashion and historical exhibitions:
  • Meeting with Designer ERDEM: The students had the unique opportunity to meet Erdem, a renowned designer born in Montreal, who had just returned from the MET Gala.
  • Visits to Iconic Stores: Visiting Liberty, Harrods, and Selfridges allowed the students to discover the best of British retail.
  • Exploring Trendy Neighborhoods: Covent Garden, Camden Town, and Notting Hill, along with vintage shopping at Brick Lane, showcased London's eclectic style.
  • "Sargent Fashion" Exhibition at TATE Britain: An exhibition demonstrating how fashion allows us to express our identity and personality.
  • Central Saint Martins: A special presentation featuring garments from John Galliano's graduate collection, highlighting the intersection of education and high fashion.
