Student Success - Kiana Cross
Kiana honors her education in the DCS in Arts, Literature and Communication before becoming a star.
After specializing in Media studies, Kiana worked as a print layout designer and illustrator for Mohawk-language books used at the Kahnawake Language and Cultural Centre.
This program taught her the creation of creative projects, autonomy, and the use of artistic and technological tools. The Portfolios platform was crucial for showcasing her work and finding employers.
Today, we have the opportunity to hear DJ Poptrt at several renowned festivals and on the radio. She managed to propel her brand with her knowledge of marketing and visual art.

The paths of Maryana Krylova, a graduate in Business Management and Reda Jaouhari, a student in Hotel Management and Tourism, have crossed at LaSalle College. Life and business partners, they created their own company called Mare Cosmetics.
When we first started brainstorming, we were asked what was on our mind. At the moment, I was reading about homesickness and the meaning of home – even what it is to miss home while being at home.
